In the middle of the first great altcoin wave, Luckycoin ships: a scrypt chain built on Junkcoin's code, where any block might pay out far more than it should. Six months later, its codebase becomes Dogecoin. Then Luckycoin is more or less forgotten.
THE DOG GETS FAMOUS.
Dogecoin goes properly mainstream: tipping culture, charity stunts, a sponsored race car. In March its random block rewards are switched off for good at block 145,000. The last visible trace of the inheritance quietly disappears. Nobody mentions where the code came from.
ICO INSANITY.
Whitepapers with no product raise nine figures. Everyone becomes a venture capitalist for eleven months. Luck is renamed 'conviction' and sold at a premium.
DEFI.
Finance is rebuilt from scratch by people who have never worked in finance. Yields are enormous, briefly, for reasons nobody wants examined too closely.
DOG COINS EVERYWHERE.
The joke from 2013 becomes a global asset class. Descendants of descendants trade at valuations that make grown analysts go very quiet. Luckycoin is still forgotten.
EVERYTHING CATCHES FIRE.
A stablecoin, several lenders and one very large exchange all discover gravity within the same twelve months. It turns out a lot of 'strategy' was luck wearing a suit.
RECOVERY.
The quiet year. Fewer people, better builders, nobody watching. Historically the best time to be paying attention, which is precisely why almost nobody is.
THE SIGNAL COMES BACK.
Token launches become a one-click activity and the trenches open properly. In the same year, an old Luckycoin blockchain backup surfaces and the chain is revived by an independent community. Eleven years underground, and the ancestor starts producing blocks again. (That revival is other people's work, not ours.)
MORE MEMES.
AI agents get wallets and immediately start doing exactly what humans do with wallets. The machines were given access to markets and chose to gamble. Ancestrally consistent.
2026 is a calendar fact. Everything else here is a joke.

Lucky never predicts anything. Lucky simply appears whenever absurd things happen. He speaks like an ancient crypto veteran who has watched this exact thing occur eleven times and has stopped explaining it.

Luckycoin is a real cryptocurrency that launched in 2013, built on Junkcoin's code, known for randomised “lucky” block rewards. Its codebase was the direct ancestor of Dogecoin.
It went quiet for roughly a decade. In 2024, an old blockchain backup surfaced and the network was revived by an independent community, who run and maintain it today.
That community is not us. This site has no affiliation with them, no endorsement from them, and no authority to speak for them. We are fans of the history, nothing more.
Not the original team, not the original chain, not an authorized continuation.
A TRIBUTE, AND SOME GAMES
What you have been playing is an independent fan tribute, a spiritual successor inspired by early crypto history. The characters, the machine, the miner, the archives and the prophecy are all original work made for this site.
Nothing here is a wager. Nothing pays out. Luck scores, points, streaks and leaderboards live in your browser's local storage and have no monetary value whatsoever.
There is no token associated with this site at the time of writing, so there is nothing to list here. No name, no ticker, no contract, no supply.
If that ever changes, the real values go in src/data/token.ts and this panel fills itself in. Until then it stays empty on purpose. A token page with invented placeholders is how people get hurt.
